Adaptive Computing with Reconfigurable Hardware
The HDP workshop offers a platform for presenting innovative research topics in the field of reconfigurable computing. Young researches are engaged to present novel approaches and methods addressing the related computer engineering challenges of hardware adaption. The workshop will not only focus on academic research, but also intends to be a forum for tool providers, hardware designers, and application developers.
Topics
- Applications for reconfigurable architectures such as FPGAs
- Supplemental design infrastructures (e.g. Network-on-Chip)
- Embedded hardware / software systems and hardware / software co-design
- Design and analysis of energy efficient, heterogeneous architectures
- Hardware accelerators based on reconfigurable hardware
- Reconfigurable System-on-Chip (RSoC)
- Test, diagnosis, simulation and trace analysis of hardware systems
- High-level synthesis tools, frameworks and specification languages
- Security-critical and cryptographic applications on FPGAs
- Design and analysis of multi-core architectures
- Big data processing with FPGAs and data center integration aspects
- Reconfigurable hardware architectures in cloud environments
The HDP workshop is part of the 47th annual conference of the German Computer Science Society. It is considered the most important meeting of computer scientists in Germany. This year, the event is headlined „Digital Cultures“ and is held between September 25. and 29. at Technische Universität Chemnitz. Although being a German conference, international submissions in English language are also very welcome.
Prospective authors are invited to electronically submit contributions in PDF format, which undergo an in-depth review process.
All selected contributions will be published in the conference proceedings „Informatik 2017, Lecture Notes in Informatics (LNI)”.
